Trevor Hill

Trevor Hill became an artist at an early age, following in the footsteps of his grandmother, Eskell Day. He was about five years old when he remembered her showing him some pen and ink drawings and when she would go to the pasture close enough to see a cow and draw it. “She was a great inspiration to me,” says Hill.
Seeing his interest in art and painting, his mom enrolled him in art lessons at age six, which continued until he was a teenager. He later took some basic art lessons in charcoal and watercolors but finally developed a love for using acrylics, which he primarily uses today.
After working in the sock industry in Fort Payne for many years, Trevor decided to follow his real passion, ministry. He left behind the 9-5 grind of a job, embracing youth ministry, and eighteen years later, is still passionate about serving the Lord as a youth minister. That career change also allowed time for his art. Trevor’s art runs the gambit from sports to angels, pets, and landscapes.-“I love it all,” he says. “Many artists choose one particular theme, but I can’t seem to do that. I want to do so many different things, and I’m just blessed to get to do what I do.” Trevor has been an artist at Boom Town Makers Market for over six years.
