Travis Lyles is a distinguished metal sculpture artist based in Leesburg, Alabama, originally from Calhoun, Georgia. A devoted parent and proud grandparent, Travis began his journey in the welding industry, studying at Coosa Valley Technical College in the late 1990s. After years of mastering the art of welding and metal fabrication, he decided to follow his lifelong passion for sculpture. His unique ability to transform raw metal into breathtaking art is fueled by his relentless curiosity—he often remarks that “figuring out how to manipulate metal keeps me up at night.” Travis describes his studio as a time capsule, where the early hours slip into the night unnoticed as he creates. His work is a testament to creativity and gratitude, encapsulated in his motto: “Thank our Creator for the opportunity to create.”
