Sherryl Lewis
Sherryl Lewis is a passionate artist who fell in love with barn quilts during her travels, leading her to design and paint her own. Her first pieces, created in 2014, still adorn her barn, and her work can be found as far as New Jersey and North Carolina. Beyond barn quilts, Sherryl also crafts organic pit-fired pottery and Cherokee Seven Clans Masks. Unlike traditional glazing methods, she uses organic materials to create unique colors and textures. Sherryl fires her creations in a brick kiln she built herself, where she buries the pottery and masks in sawdust, igniting the kiln for a natural, rustic finish. Her dedication to preserving traditional techniques while infusing her work with personal creativity is evident in each piece she produces.
