Chris Littleford
Chris Littleford, an artisanal logger with a profound appreciation for his roots, resides on the “other side of the state” but maintains strong ties to the DeKalb County area. His work is deeply rooted in the heritage and natural beauty of the Tennessee Valley Region, creating a sense of place and belonging for those who appreciate his craft. A testament to his craftsmanship is this stunning 8 ft x 3 ft walnut table harvested from a single mammoth tree, downed by a severe storm, on the family farm in Lauderdale County. Nearby, the walnut tree that produced this table stood a century-old barn, also a victim of the storm. Demonstrating his resourcefulness and commitment to sustainability, Chris crafted pullout shelves from the barn doors, incorporating pieces of history and character into his designs. This table embodies a stately yet modern aesthetic and would serve as a focal point in a large library, den, or any space that commands a presence.
