Ed Deyo
Ed, born in Anniston, Alabama, earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Auburn University. While at Auburn, he worked with a large Architectural and Engineering firm in Nashville, TN, and studied in Cortona, Italy, through the University of Georgia, receiving special commendations and winning a sculpture competition. In 1986, Ed moved from Atlanta to Charlotte and opened ColorWorks in 1989. He has received numerous national and international awards and built a substantial following.
Since late 2014, Ed has operated ArtDeyo in Anniston, AL, his hometown. He serves as President of the Anniston Council on the Arts and Humanities, Chairman of the Mainstreet Anniston program, and President of the Mainstreet Art Project. With 30 years in the custom prototype business and 25 years as a business owner, Ed consistently delivers high-quality work. His unique process using cut paper, paint, and mixed media has made him unparalleled in his art form globally.
