Justice’s creative inspiration comes from the mysteries of nature and the area where she resides. The process for her block prints begin with a sketch that is transferred to a Linoleum block. She uses carving tools to carve designs into the block, which creates a plate to print from. Once the roll ink is on the carved block she lays a sheet of paper on top of the ink and rubs the back of the paper with a brayer. The print block is pulled off the block and prints are ready to hang to dry. All of Justice’s prints are handmade original works of art.
